Call me crazy, but if it were me, i'd be starting in the $8000 range probably. Realistic number, like $6500.

Yeah I'm not looking to gouge anyone. I'm only in it for the cost of parts and my time(my time is worthless) The truck was essentially free after selling off the good parts
Honestly I built it because I have always wanted to SAS a gmt400 and I was sitting on all the parts to do it. The experience of building it and checking off the project from my list was great. Call me weird but I like building things more than I like keeping them haha .

Truck sold today. I got hit up by a follower on Instagram earlier in the week and he came and go it today. Hopefully it has a good life up in Idaho.

It wasnt easy. But I got $7K so I cant really complain. Maybe down the road, Ill build another chevy. As for right now, here is a hint of what I will most likely be buying. I picked up these wheels this morning. I just miss my last one so damn much.

Yes. My requirements for a new truck are that it has to have a 5.9L and a 6speed. I've settled on two options. A fully loaded super clean 2001 ram 2500, and a not fully loaded 2007 3500. My last truck was a 2007 2500, I sold it with 250K miles on it and it was problem free for me.
I sold it to pay off the last of my debt and still have enough left over to build the square body. I regretted it ever since. I'm meant to drive a diesel. Low RPMs and turbo whistle keep me calm.

Hey there’s a clean looking 2nd gen for sale here. I’ll check it out for you when I get back to town tomorrow. I’ve been avoiding it because I just bought a plasma table and don’t want to get attached and do something dumb. It’s a patriot blue quad cab long bed.
