'98 vortec 350

Like the title states...I have this '98 vortec 350 (short block basically- heads, block, oil pan- no intake or anything else) from a '98 K2500. 130k.

Would this be a good candidate for a budget-ish 383 on propane? Who's done something similar?

Definitely! That's almost identical to what I've had in my Blazer for the last decade (yikes!) and it works well.

I would run it. Just a small correction though, if you have the heads, it's a long block.
