In the past I’ve always just set the toe myself with a tape measure and a straight edge. Really don’t know what I was thinking taking to them.This is why I will always just do my own. I tried to convince my buddy to do his own and he is convinced he cant do it. you need the machine hooked up to all four wheels and all that jaz... just to set toe.

Jack up the axle and put it on stands. Check the axle with an angle finder, digital is my favorite. Zero it if you can with shims otherwise just take the number as your zero. Then start working on the camber. Camber shims behind the spindle is the only hard part. (setting caster is 2nd)
Toe is so easy with two people, two 4' straight edges (levels maybe) and a tape measure.
When you are done, it will be better than any work you would have paid for.
