i just picked up a 1999 chevy 2500 2wd truck. i wanna lift the front end to level it out or even set the front end up a little taller than the rear. ive never dealt with these trucks, what are my options for lifting it? any help you guys could give me would be awesome!

10 years or so ago Fabtech made a lift for your truck. Not sure if they do anymore, I know they discontinued a bunch of the slow selling lifts (like the 73-87 2wd stuff).

Friend of mine wanted to do this with a mid 90's C2500 but could never find a spindle lift so he gave up. Didn't want to mess with the suspension geometry by wedging taller coils in the stock stuff or spend the cash on a full on lift kit.

ive been looking around and found that febtech does still make a spindle kit. but its ****in $600! looks like it'll be waiting a while. if i wanted to go full on long travel with it (i'd love to but cant afford it) there are a number of companies that make a-arm/spindle/coilover kits for it.

Make sure it's a spindle kit for a 3/4 ton and up 8 lug truck. They may have since I helped him look but no one made one 5-6 years ago.

What I liked about the spindle lifts were that it was easy lift and didn't mess with the steering or factory suspension geometry. He started down this road after we helped a friend lift his shortbox C1500. 3" spindle lift, some 32's and flashy rims, some stock Bilstein shocks, and a long AAL in the rear and his truck did everything he wanted to. He wasn't beating on it like a prerunner so he didn't need the full Fabtech lift or the compromises it brings with it.
