99+ Seats in 91- Suburban

2nd row LMC seatbelts. One half on "B" pillar other bolted to floor. You need pictures let me know.

I love this and hate my front seats!!!!

My biggest question is, what about the seat mounted belt?
Is the floor strong enough to handle the strain in a wreck?

Geez I really need to update my account. This not being able to view pics is killing me. I have a 89 burb and had been wondering about putting in later model rear seats. For the fronts I still want something like Corbeau or similar.

Thanks for putting this on here.

I don't want to find out if the floor is strong enough in a wreck but I used some 3/8 steel plates and some grade 8 hardware under the floor. I have pictures posted on the first page in this tread what the underside looks like but you definitely want to use some larger plates underneath.

I drove it again last night and I have to say this was a very well worth it install. The seats are 100 times better than the old ones, they soak up the bumps so much better and it is just alot more enjoyable to drive.

What height did the seat end up at in the front? I'd think the lifted floor section in teh burb would make these seats too high as installed.

Yea, that is why I initially started this thread but after getting conformation from a few people, I went for it and it turned out great. Like I've said, I'm only 5'7" and they are very comfortable for me. If you were well over 6' you would want to check first.

I'm pulling this thread from the dead because I'm about to do the same thing. But I'm wondering if there's anyway to remedy thisIMG_20170920_180310.jpg
It makes it really hard to read these old threads when you can't see the pics...... Lol.
