So jealous right meow. Where did you end up getting them and for what price? I found one place a while vack and $168 seems to ring a bell as the lowest i could find. I want them on all 4 corners of mine with the ord springs :D

sounds mean!!

I need to get on with installing some exhaust. It is down right, fuggin' loud, right now. It still brings a smile to my face though. :D

I called up ORD and Stephen designed the valving and such. I think they were ~195.00 or so, a piece. Bilstein really gave those guys the run around on them though. I think it took 6-7 weeks to actually get them to my door.

Awesome work Mike!

Thanks Dean.. :waytogo: Pretty happy with the way the FUSH's worked out.

The garage is the cleanest it's ever been since I started this thing. All I need to do now is figure out where I need to tighten or shim somewhere on the front end, hang the door, fender and hood for alignment and it's off to the front cage/ shock hoops.

I still need to figure out how I'm going to do the weld on frame kit. I want to have the box on, so I don't end up putting one of the tubes in the wrong spot.

Front Upper Shackle Hanger.

I had to make some that fit a 2.5" spring for clearance. The ones that came on our rigs where designed for the 3" spring.

In this pics you can see the two that I made and the top one is for 73+. They just didn't work out.

Something like this..

I would have needed to get some super wide bushings in the back to make the shackles parallel to each other. I have ones on the front of the springs to make up the width for that hanger.

gotcha. thanks for the explanation. I remember looking at when you built those but it didn't register what you did. Nice work!

Well, absolutely no progress in the garage this weekend. :frown1: My toilets were acting up this past week, so I had to make a decision, engine cage, or working toilets. :surepal:

After my wife helped me make my decision, :screwy: :whistle:I headed to Home Depot and then to the back yard. Cut out all of the old cast and ran new ABS throughout the entire home. At that time, I had to start digging, and what did I find, a damn old redwood septic tank...Joy..

After getting that pumped out and coming up with a plan to reinforce that tank so I get a couple more years, I drank beer and ended my weekend.

I guess now that this is almost complete, I can really start to work on the back yard some.

All in all, it was kinda a chitty weekend.... :doah: :haha:

Sounds like you needed to call Deuling for some help... I hear he's a pro ar shovelling chit:D

We are a little too redneck up here in NorCal for Deuling. Those Skinny pants that he wears, would prolly get the poor kid shot. He obviously has enough problems with his attire, I just couldn't do that to him.

I like the kid, skinny pants and all. :D

bummer man! looks like you got done what needed to be done though. hopefully it's back to the build soon.

It was one of those things that just needed to be done. I think that the Blazer and I are going to spend some time together tonight though.

Maybe till the wee hours of the morning, just to get re-acquainted, ya know...:pimp:

I think that I found what was wrong with the front end.

Any suggestions? The B2 looks like it's for 73+ again.

ps. Heath, I know that you're going to say links, if I can't find a solution......let's talk..:doah:

Oh.. this puts me out about 5/8-7/8" out (high) on the drivers side of the core support..

You know now that you mention it my "69" has been bugging me since I put it back together in the very same way. Just a tad higher on the drivers side, maybe even those exact measurments. I just convinced myself it was from me using my old probably UN-sprung stock rear springs. Now you got me wondering?

Whats a B2?

Whats a B2?

Hey Chris,

Here is Kert's B52's. Sorry, I was a little excited that I finally pinned it down when I posted.

Now that I look at the entire front drivers shackle, it took a hard hit strait down at some time. The rivets are bent at the top and a gap at the bottom. Though, not enough of a gap to bring everything in right.

I'm at a crossroads of, find another drivers shackle from P&P and bring in the front square with tube for the winch, or call enough is enough. Plate these rails and with some with help, figure out a simple link.....or something...:dunno:

Just can't leave it though..
