Ugh headers are a headache. Ive got to do something about mine, when the motor torques one side hits and vibrates the frame and its quite annoying

That very well may be the coolest bed I've ever seen!!!

Nice work on the parts ordering! I think you'll be very pleased with the entropy radiator:thumb:

Mike,

If you find a good source for OEM-style plugs / screw on oil-caps for those M/T valvecovers, be sure to share the source.

My covers are great, but I'm almost positive that the one oil cap I have isn't original and doesn't fit all that well... I'd like to find the "good stuff" for it at some point.

You know I will.. But I might use it as leverage on you to use one of your coupons first, that is, before I spill the beans.. :D

loving it man. I get to see all the pretty new parts for our blazers without spending the cash! lol

...now, if only I got to use them too. :D

Diggin the progress Mike...not sure if flex joints in the exhaust will help you or not...made my fabbing a little easier with those in there. I also ran a 2.5" pipe rigidly mounted to the frame rail so it wouldn't rattle being so close to everything.

Thanks Dave, your thread was the one I still need to check out on that flex pipe. I remember you putting it in there. It may be my answer for over the 205 at least. I looked at it all again last night, and if I made another bracket for the end of the shifter rail and brought it closer to the doubler that may work. Just don't know if everything would work as good without the leverage/ pivot way out there.

Something like this. If it worked I would have plenty of room for the exhaust to pass over the top.

I had to do that exact same thing Mike...lemme see if I can find a decent pic of it.

OK, guess this is all I can find on the triple stick bracket:

how did you get your small block MT valve covers to shine like that. I have the same exact pair that I got from someone on 67-72chevytrucks.com the oil cap hole and pcv hole have not been punched through yet. I cant really find anything on how to make them shine, and well looking at all of yalls stuff maybe yall might have a idea

Thanks a lot, Dave. At least I know that someone has done it before and it doesn't have negative affects on the shifting capabilities.

You could also drop the pivot point downward rather than make the lever shorter. Its another option at least.

Honestly, I bought these 2-3 years ago off of Ebay. IIRC he stated that he did a media blast on them and it looks like some silver type paint. It is defiantly not a spit shine on them though.

Good idea, Brian. That would keep the pivot point out there some. I could just bend it around the first shift rail and shorten up the other bracket.

Thanks :waytogo:

I will try to dig my up so you can see what mine look like in comparison. Maybe a dumb question, what is media blast?
