fabricator set, that's the ticket! :haha:

btw, that console is art dood.. :waytogo:

I can only imagine the amount of grinding consumables you go thru.... :haha:

I was looking at the first few pages yesterday...you haven't driven the truck with the lift and the 60/14 bolt have you?

Nope...:doah: It's been something like 4 years now worth of throwing metal at it.

Thanks Paul.. You know I always appreciate your feedback on stuff.
:waytogo:

Consumables??? lets not even go there. :eek1: You know how it is.... $15 dollar part and 30 bucks to get it in worth of consumables.

Been at it pretty good this morning. Got her mounted to the t-case mount and got to get a look for the first time how it's going to come out. Damn excited to get this one done and on to the next. :woot:

Built a plate to lock everything in over the T-case.

Welded it in from the top side

and prepped the bottom

Made and welded in a gusset. There will be two more on the sides, but that is after I take it all apart someday.

Installed the seats to take a look. I should look a lot better once I fix the linkage for the triple stick to bring them in a little closer to home.

and back out there I go.

Nah, those are just regular duty hinges, industrial would have been 1" DOM tube hinges with grease fittings. :)

You know I probably would have, if I would have thought about it sooner. :o

Thanks Dean..:waytogo:

Made some more progress today...

Some pics..

Found a chunk of the round stock on the floor that I heated and bent around for the cup holders.

Made some skins for the sides. Drivers side not on yet.

That turned out like this

And started on the top side welds.

I wanna see lips and eyelashes painted on the lid :D

Been thinkin' the same thing...:doah: :D

Here she is in all her glory... I think that she is damn sexy... :saweet: :thumb:

I paid extra just for a close up, just for you, Buddy. :pimp:

All BS aside, that thing is sex! you should skip the paint and the jokes and just clear coat it IMO.

I really would guys, but she is a little rougher than the pics show. The very edge on some of the welds are still visible. Last night I went a little too deep with the flap on the pass side too. That's when I put down the grinders and picked up the crayons to fulfill the special request by Eric.

I'll be heading out today and we'll see how it all comes out. My guess, it will need some mud work to really make it pop and look seamless, tho. :dunno:
