Spent some time out in the garage today. The first hour was just cleaning up the mess in there. After that, I decided to work on the hidden hitch a little today. Unfortunately, the beer fridge gravity pull was super strong today, so I didn’t get anything welded up. :tongue1:

Everything is mocked up tho. I’ll add some tube gussets to the back side and box out the inside of the C tube to lock it all in. Spent the rest of the day with @Jomamma just knocking pff surface rust and stiff. It was a little depressing looking at the frame and stuff all shitty looking. It’s much better now. :)

I had a great plan set up for this weekend. Unfortunately my POS riding mower helped me waste most of Saturday by changing belts and dropping the deck twice. Super fun.

Sunday started off awesome. Got out to the garage early and started coping tube before 8:00. I really wanted to knock out the rear hitch fast and start drilling holes in all of my fabbed body mount hangers now that I can get to them from the top side of the frame.

Well, people started rolling up the driveway around 11:00. It wasn’t soon after that, that the beer fridge door started opening on fairly frequent intervals.

Everybody can thank @Jomamma for the lack of welding and progress over the last couple of attempts. Damn you Joe, not a lot of forward progress and I feel like shit today. :doah: :rotfl:

Anyways, here’s a couple of pics, it’s all mocked up and ready for the glue gun now....:D

looks good and I feel your pain.

Thanks man.... it was a rough day. Lol

C’mon.... I added like two pounds to the farm. :pimp:

Maybe @Jomamma needs to drill holes while you run the glue gun
:saweet:

I just stopped by his job site to borrow a tool and told him he’s not allowed in the garage until I feel better and get more done. :haha:

Holy shit!! You planning on towing houses? That is stout!

I might be stupid and hook up the dump trailer at some point, for some reason. I didn’t want it to fall off.

Oh he has a future as a truck pull champion.

I heard @blazinzuk would he the announcer so I wanted to be ready. :saweet:

I was kinda figuring this was going to happen eventually. Lol

Sorry, but there has been no progress on the Blazer since the last update. I really needed to put my head down and finish this big project that we were on. Between the fire and constant rain, this job took way longer than expected. Passed my final last Friday, and the granite should be done in the pool room and outdoor kitchen by Monday. About time for a new job site, new money and to get things back to normal here at the house and garage.

Here are 40 pics out of about 500 to kinda show what we did out there and why there has been very little progress on the Blazer. So far we subbed out the pool, shingles, mini split unit in the pool room, cabs and granite. Everything else was done by us three, with the help of @Jomamma with the stone work.

Hopefully these upload in order.

FIRST!!!!

"Like"...

Collect the paycheck and report to the garage immediately!!!

-G

Lol... you, along with the FB guys have seen a lot of these already. I’d gladly report to the garage as soon as I can. I just wish that last payday check was more. It just gets smaller and smaller the longer the project takes. Fortunately, I’ve been sitting in front of the computer the last two days working on a new house build that was lost in the fire. I plan to get those submitted to the county next week, then I’ll just be waiting on FEMA to clean up the lot. Good times are coming, but this winter kinda sucked and I need to get over that hump again before super garage time can happen again. Kinda goes back to the Self Employment thread floating around right now. Some times it’s steak, sometimes it’s crackers. Guess what I’m eating now? Lol

All I can say is verrrrrry nice showcase of your talents. Railing and exposed beams are killer. I will not call you Nail bender again.
