Mark, I ended up buying around 70 bucks worth of new grade 8 at tractor supply. I already have a ton of it, so I should be getting closer. I really need to try out these Nordlocks to see how the work on the fresh paint. I only bought three packs of them from Amazon. If they work, I'll need a lot more.
No word from the painter on the second batch of parts yet. If all else fails, I'll bolt together what I have on the frame, marry the tranny and doubler, clean up and paint the triple sticks and start to clean the engine again. It was already pretty once, but it's got pretty dirty sitting in the frame rails all of these years. That alone should take up this coming weekend.

Only 12 pounds of hardware?? Will have to come over one of these weekends to stupidvise.
Not nearly enough time out in the garage as I was hoping for, but I did have time to start to bolt up some of the frame. I used up all of the Nordlocks that I had and ordered some more today.
Ordered up a couple more things too.

i have those vc's, sandblasted, hangin on the wall.. if i had known, i would have sent em to cali.... 
I have another chrome set sitting on the engine right now, but wanted black and hit the easy button. Lol
