Doing the nordlocks and nylocks as I go. I ran short of 3/8 nords this weekend, but just had a bunch more delivered today. Hopefully I can finish out the rest of the frame this week and concentrate on powertrain stuff this weekend.
As far as stuff fitting together, so far it’s been flawless. Everything lines up perfectly and I haven’t needed a drill bit yet.

Just a personal preference but I highly recommend using all of the u-bolts.

I threw one in the truck to bring to an Offroad shop in town. For some reason, whoever I ordered these from, they must be for a rig with 4” blocks or something. There’s not enough threads to tighten them down and I don’t have a die that big. Figured I just get four more u bolts.
So add the blocks and get some 44’s, duh!

Don't you old guys usually have problems with the nuts being too long! You know from all that gravity and lack of use.
I think the accurate description is hanging low.

Finished bolting on the last of the frame stuff this past weekend. Then Joe came over to help me get the drivetrain in. After helping and a couple of beers he took off.,
I stayed and did drunken circles for hours after with a big grin on my face. I payed for it today...Good times. Lol
