So a little progress with Eric's sweet idea.
I knew that I was heading down a path of a ton of work, but it's turned into about a months worth of work with my current schedule.
First the tub had to come off again to get to all the rivets. That included the engine cage and my light weight sliders.
When I first build the inner frame channels that hold the sliders and tranny/doubler, I used the rivets as a guide for placement. It worked sweet with the old hangers, not so much with the new as there are bolts through these areas now.
Anyways, some catch up pics. A lot of you guys have seen these from the book O faces, but wanted to get them up here.
Starting to strip everything.

I was getting sick of hooking the truck up to the blazer to work on the frame, so I made some sweet ramps out of my dump trailer ramps.

And worked till it was all clean.

I ended up taking off everything that was not going to be used again.

The frame went back under the tub and I started the level everything off again. Ended up putting jacks stands with shims under the axles, (concrete floor in the garage has a slope) to level off the frame pretty much perfect.
The front of the tub is locked in with the A tubes coming down to the floor and the engine cage being locked into the firewall. It turned out the the rear ended up sitting perfect on the section of shackle hanger that I had not cut out yet. This gives me about .75* of rake to the front. It should be about perfect when I finish adding the weight with the gas tank and rear tire mount.

I installed the core and fenders to check all my gaps, then it was time to start making brackets. Didn't get a lot done, but the first set are done for position 1, the floor board.

And tacked both sides in with two washers on top for a little adjustment, even though I can't really move this due to it being locked in on this particular mount. The rest of them, will get a couple more washers, or solid shims.

That's really where I have it as of now. I kinda wanted to get the boys in on this, Heath, Eric Greg, Jess and Chad (Bigblock72) to make sure that this is the same type of mounting that everyone has steered me to on this rig.
Nothing is burned in yet, so I can change everything now. Just want to make sure.
