Got my new drivetrain sitting on the floor behind me. It's all bolted up to make sure everything is cool and will obviously come apart again to be installed.
NV4500/203/205 with triple stick.
Tuesday the 1410 yokes for the 205 should show up. The 203 range box and 205 were built by NorthWest Fab and I'm using their Dual T-case kit as well. The 205 was bored for the 32 spline input, rails ground for twin stick, all new bearings and seals, new billet 6061 bearing retainers, new 32 spline front output, and on tuesday will have the 1410 yokes front and rear.
I also got all my NV4500 rebuild parts through Kyle, and i needed a metric assload of hard parts I thought i was going to have a hard time finding. Big kudo's to Kyle and Jordan...they've pretty much made things a one stop shopping kind of deal.
With the clocking I've tenatively chosen it sits pretty flat on the floor, so as long as it doesn't hit the floorboards too badly I'm gonna stick with it and should have a pretty flat belly.
I have one question for the parts store guru's here. I am using an advance Adaptors bellhousing and I see a provision for a clutch slave. I know for sure it's not a Chev slave, and looking on the AA site I'm pretty sure it's set-up for a factory Jeep slave (4.0 with external slave)
My question is whether the line from a Chev clutch master will work with the Jeep slave? I have a pic of the relevant part of the bell, but I need to upload it.
