I have a buddy who used the a/c conderser for a trans cooler and loves it. just wondering if any of you have heard of this or done it before, and if so how did it work?Jesse

i was going to do this when i removed my ac, but it was broke so no go.
I do remember reading that there may be some deposits in side the cooler that might not be so good for the trans, so you might want to clean it real good, or maybe have it flushed, nice though to have a huge cooler would defanatly do wonders

Used to see it pretty commonly. Not so much any more since better coolers have become more available.
Seems excessive to me. I'd rather dump it all together & use a real cooler. That thing full of ATF will weigh a ton.
