OK, heres my delimma..When I jump the 2 wires of the low pressure switch connector, my compressor will kick on. Now, when i try to jump the switch itself (on the two metal prongs) nothing. So hence when i plug in the LPS nothing. does that mean my switch is bad? or relay? Im clueless towards electrical so im effin lost.

Now with that said.. i tried to feed it some freon (it is converted btw) and it will take, but builds up pressure ( more than alloted) when i unjump it. doing this in like 5 second int. yet, it wont blow cold or anything.

there has to be the correct amount of pressure for the pressure switch to allow the compressor to run, that being said when u just the terminals and the compressor and the clutch kicks in that means one of two things, either the pressure switch is broke or you dont have the correct amount of freon, so u can either replace the switch and see what happens, or suck out the freon evacuate it and recharge with the correct amount, if u take it to a shop they are legally required to look for leaks if thats the case
 
Its building up excessive pressure because the system is contaminated with air.
As stated before, you need to have it evacuated and recharged to remove contamination.
 
All you need is a cheap gauge to tell you where the low side pressure is. This will tell you if the switch is messed up or your charge is wrong.

Try measuring the resistance of the switch. Sometimes the contacts wear (Several Ohms or 10's of Ohms) and it can't pull the clutch anymore. However, they will still pull a relay and the relay can pull the clutch. I've been running like that for years because I prefer to replace a common $3 relay than replace the low side pressure switch.

But as said above, it is most likely that you have a leak.
