do you think i can just ad Freon form on of those add a cans or do i need to take to mechanic

That one is in your high side line, correct?
That would do it.
I wonder if it needs replaced, or is it just little loose?

had a can of the walmart brand and hooked it up and the cheap nozzel let go and sprayed that crap everywhere.
i almost c-h-i-t myself. hahaha i ran, didnt think i could yet after breaking my leg in February

If it's completely empty, you can't just fill it. You will have to put a vacuum on the system for an hour or so to boil out any moisture. Then you should see if the system holds vacuum to make sure you fixed the leak. If you don't vacuum the system to boil out moisture you'll kill the compressor pretty quick. AC systems require quite a few necessary steps to recharge them from completely empty and this step is maybe the most important.

it is not totaly empty and i was just courios as to how much it holds. i know the pressure tells you when to stop and if i have to take it all the way down ill get the gauges and pump needed to do it myself and watch a bunch of vids on youtube before i do it.

I got one at O'reilly for like $15. They're not that bad... $129 sounds like the parts guy had no f*ing clue what he was looking for.
when you changed it does is let all the freon out?, i dont want to charged mine if that switch loses all the charge.

Nope, replacing it won't let all the freon out. There is a schrader valve behind it.
