The VOV’s can work ok, just don’t get the “extreme temperature” one, just the regular. The extreme is made for the Middle East where it’s 120°F outside…
Re: suburban rear ac hoses.
You can use a dremel to cut the old crimp sleeve off. Remove the old hose, replace with new hose, recrimp it or have a shop crimp it for you.
I have the entire rear system for a burb. If I get it running again I'll install it. Or throw it in the K5

It's nice in the rear of a K5.
When I had the burb it came out of i used the rear exclusively. Cranked it up, blew cold air on my head and neck steadily.
