i need a new clutch for my sm465 but im not sure what to get i was kinda lookin at a hays heavy duty clutch but im not sure so i thought i would ask you guys what your feedback is on some different clutches im really hard on clutches i have no mercy so i need a heavy duty one. while the sm465 and np205 combo is out i may put some twin sticks on my 205 and then maybe a gasket kit on the whole shebang cause my poor sm465 has a little leak.

Centerforce Dual Friction baby!

Check out Dial A Clutch and grab a LUK. A Rep Set should work fine, if you want more holding power a Pro Gold may be what you're after. Pretty good prices, too.

i grabbed the luk pro gold 12" for my 465 setup. i LOVE it. feels great!

Same exact clutch here. Best clutch I have ever used. Totally submerged it several times, many high rpm launches, all kinds of intentional slipping... it's never whimpered. Way better than a centerforce for my application.

So How Do I Know If I Have A 11" Or 12" Clutch Without Tearing It Down. I Have A 350/sm465/np205 Combo If That Helps. Iam Going To Get A Pro Gold Just Need To Know Size.

I went with the 12 1/4" Hays "super clutch". Smooth, but does have a pretty heavy feel to it even with the hydro clutch. I wanted a Luk Pro Gold, but couldn't find one locally so my next choice was the Hays.

you'd have to measure it, unless it's stock. i dont believe they came with 12"ers stock. somewhere pioneer has a flywheel you can get from autozone that fits the 12" clutch.

Centerforce or luk, all the way. BTW, if you look closely at any centerforce clutch disc, you'll find Luk printed on it,they make most of their discs. Anyhow, Dial-a-Clutch.com is a good place to get Luks, but recently they started selling generic kits, so just watch to make sure you get a Luk.
