my 99 2500 4wd currently has 3.73s in it...i found towing to kentuky with my blazer behind it it was in out of od the entire time...it has a 4l80e so im not to worrried about the trans more than its just annoying...plus the gas mileage sucked...

i did some numbers on the rpm calculator and found with a 31 inch tire,in od with 4.56s i was running 2400 rpm...with a 410 about 2100 and with a 373 about 1900...so which gear??

also i got a buddy selling a brand new 14bff (my truck has a 14bsf)..its the older style so is the wms the same as my 14bsf??what about spring perches and abs??i think my abs controller is messed up so could i just by pass it...

do they make 456s for the ifs??sorry for all the questions i know nothing about the newer model trucks

Yes they make 4.56 for the front end, its the same size differential as your 14SF (uses same carrier).

I would probably do 4.10's although if you ever plan to move up to 33's Id go 4.56.

That older rear axle wont have the perches in the right spot and the abs doesnt matter, the computer gets the rear signal from the Tcase/VSS

cool i might step up to 33s eventually so i think im gonna go with the 456...how bad is that front regearing??im guessing i will prolly need a new carrier (456 and up) or a thick gear??im also hoping this will help out alot towing and hopefully improve some kind of fuel mileage

Since Ive done the front end regear, Ill be glad to help you with that. I have the $50 tool that is needed as well.
