A "little" 4x4 Fun .........

Re: A \"little\" 4x4 Fun .........

Shawn,
Get the Clod-a-leaver system, with 4 good oil filled shocks...massive flex....I used to have the coldbuster but I sold it! The kit I got was about $350. I had a steering servo on the front axle and one on rear. Aluminum chassis, aluminum gear boxes with steel gears, and pair of High Performance Motors, also had enough room so I could run 2 batteries at once!.....I stripped the gears in the stock axles before I got the steel ones.....Major fun!

You have quite a collection yourself Biggray! The Hot Shot I actually bought from a friend who had it for years and never played with it. I'm having some trouble with keeping the gas motor running. The Porsche is actually the oldest of the bunch. I've owned that for 17 years. The MSC was shot so I just added a ESC. The foam tires have cracks on the sides from age. For the dual motor Clod, I heard the Super Rooser ESC works nice so I may go that route and two 8.4v battery packs for longer run time. I have the same problem with spending all my money on my K5 so these upgrades have to wait. I'd like to eventually have the Clod built like this but retain the original Chevy body on it:
