A little out of my price range

Doubt he'll pay when he realizes he can buy a Duramax for that much.

How in the he(double hockey sticks) did the bidding get that frigging high?

1. Somebody got ahold of somebody else's eBay account and is reaking havoc.

2. The seller's buddies might be trying to "help" the price out.

3. Somebody rides the short yellow bus and just bought a piece of the Brooklyn Bridge.

WOWOW. Could build one in alot better shape for half that. :eek1: :eek1: :eek1:

might have thought he was bidding 4700.00

cieguin ( 68Feedback score is 50 to 99) US $47,601.00 Sep-25-05
shiretmstr ( 3 ) US $47,501.00 Sep-25-05
cieguin ( 68Feedback score is 50 to 99) US $45,654.00 Sep-25-05
shiretmstr ( 3 ) US $4,661.00 Sep-25-05

This is the bid history. Went from 4,661 to 45,654. I think this would rule out the possability of him adding an extra zero. eBay won't let you make a bid lower than the current price. Because he would have had to bid 4,662 or more, not 4565 with an extra 0. But he has the 4 at the end, not 0

Yeah I added an extra zero on accident when bidding on a winch last week. I ended up retracting my bid. I didn't want to pay 4990 for a 8274. Even though it was working. Lost the auction but owell

Check out the guy who won it. His last 3 wins were a pair of shoes, then some pants, then some sunglasses with a hat. None more than $50. Now he paid 50K for a rig that needs some TLC?? Hmmmmm  The winner also outbid himself a dozen times.

He needs a "macho" truck to go with those "macho" sunglasses. :haha:

All I can say is: WTF!?!?

I doubt the seller will ever see that money, and if he does.. he's one lucky SOB.

I gotta hurry and put up my '85 K30 up for bidding!!! Hopefully I can get $45K or around there as I could pay off some serious bills. :deal: :deal: :deal: :screwy: :surepal:

No kidding! Makes me want to put my crew cab up with a Buy It Now of $30k, maybe one of the losing bidders would grab it. :haha:

Seems like an obvious typo to me as the guy just entered an extra number.

Find it funny that the guy doesn't even say what motor it is. Just says its a Turbo Diesel(likely a 6.5 transplant) like its a factory setup.

Yeah, there is some info lacking. I called and asked a bunch of questions, it obviously looks cobbled. I think it was a stock 6.2 with a 6.5 turbo retrofitted.
