I am betting the cieguin guy and shiremstr are friends of the seller. Screwed up trying to raise the price. Over bid everyone and then just kept going for fun..
But it is weird that the price went from $4661.00 to $45654.00. I bet thats an Ebay program screw up. Even if Cieguin bid that much it would go in sequence.. Unless they both bid $45000.00 which seems unlikely....

I had that happen one time. I called the guy and got a set price for the item and paid for it before the auction ended. The person that put auction up had no clue or no way at the time to end the auction so he said make sure i win it. But i would only pay the agreed amount. I bid like 20000 on a 2001 jeep wrangler that was totalled out. Damn fools on there got it up to 17k before they stopped. This was in 2002.
