Haven't done the remote selonoid on this one yet - have it on the K20. This is a new starter but I'm thinking the remote selonoid will fix the problem. When it's hot, it will crank 3-4 times slower and slower than stop. But what is odd, hit it again and most of the time it will crank over faster and then start. It's very odd.
Drove my two girls to school this morning and then headed over to get my antique tag registered - yep - I'm not legally driving the streets!
Look at that sweet 14 bolt - its Detroit Locker is alot more noticeable than the factory No-Spin (also a Detroit Locker) in my K20.
Had to snap some shots of the K5 outside since most of my shots have been from inside the shop.
The seat covers are off a vehicle that my dad has - he hated them and was going to get rid of the. I noticed the shape was pretty close and tried them out and they work pretty good. Not necessarily what I would have chosen, but sure beats sitting on ripped up seats!
Got into the secondaries yesterday and a couple times today - really bogs down and sputters so something needs to be adjusted. Sure drives and runs well when the secondaries are shut.
I'm totally digging driving this K5! On the way to work in the opposite lanes of traffic another first gen K5 drove by - hardly ever see them around here so I thought that was especially cool!
