A pic of my son helping me..

You could go ahead and use...I get 3 megs free with service. But if I go over a certain amout they charge me..When I go over that I will yank the picture Dan

Dan you have some of the most priceless pics of yourself and your kids. I only can wish of a childhood like that. Everyone is a mechanical idiot in my family... yet some how I'm a total gear head and mechanic now. Hmmm.... makes me wonder if I was a Milkman kid hahaa /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif But gotta say two thumbs up dan.

I am no mech..Thou I wish I had paid more attention to my Dad when I was growing up..But he always stuck me with the grunt work sanding and polishing rims. So I hated it growing up....My brother is the mech.. He sets there and tells me what I am doing wrong and how to fix it... But I did learn from my dad.. I am making it fun for my son, So he will enjoy it as much as I do now...Dan

My dad used to point at a part and ask me what it was( water pump, distributor, carb, etc.) eventually I new what all the parts were and where they went. Eventually it was tearing things apart and putting them back together. I try and do that with my daughter, but I think she may still be a bit young. It's cool that your son isn't afraid to climb up with dad in the engine compartment and get dirty. And I agree that , that is a picture worth being framed.

lets not pick on "mechanical idiots".some of us idiots didn't have dads!!! but i got a chiltons, 6 year old neice, friends and CK5 and if any one needs a hand i'm there (near dallas).
all i'm saying if someone doesn't know, help them and feed the fire. sorry about the rant.
george
