Help me make my decision on if I should add this Cowboy Camper on the back of my dually.

I would of paint if for sure. I do a good bit of trips with the family. I have a son that's 10 and a daughter that's 8. Along with my wife, sometimes the cab of the dually get's a little crowded. This could possible make it much easier for the crew to relay and enjoy while on our road trip to the wheeling site.

I got it for free, so I will only be out the paint to make it match.

I think I like it, but I'm not sure.

If it was yours, would you do it?

When you need extra space they are a great way to get it..... A friend of mine dad had one while we were going up and his sister & brother use to take turns taking naps up there why they were on trips..

paint it and keep it. i like it:grin:. or keep it blue for the two tone look:D

i like them my self. paint it.

p.s. the poll bug has bitten you . i polled and whent back to 2002 thred on synthetics.

I think it looks sharp on there. Paint it and go with it. I wouldn't recommend letting anyone sleep in it though when you are traveling as someone stated. If you got in accident it would be very unlikely someone would survive:frown1:

Just my opinion

BTW I am diggin your house. Looks pretty nice from what I can see.

A lot nicer then my Govt. (Tent) quarters here in Iraq:D

"Cowboy camper"

I would paint it to match and keep it if you need extra room.I would be cautious about letting the kids lay down back there while driving though. If an accident were to happen it could be tragic having one of the kids back there without a seatbelt. It would be a great place to stow stuff for the kids to keep rhem occupied though.

How close does the trailer get to it? If there are no clearance issues I would use it.

Paint and keep, it will have a unique look. Probably have people chasing you around the Safeway parking lot asking where you got it.

Not me not in a million years that is just my opinion, I would rather sacrifice and save money to buy a four door. Course I would never dream of getting a dodge either:D but hey whatever floats your boat.

EAT AMERICAN BEEF

I have never been a huge fan of them (looks-wise). They are OK IMO. However if I were in your shoes with the traveling w/kids + gear I would not even think twice. I would go for it. That extra space is really handy to keep gear dry/clean, and store games, pillows, blankets (me when we are camping:grin:). It is like the difference between a standard cab and a stretch cab all over again.

May as well use it , if its on a truck doing what its designed to do why not . Its not like its a hot rod or wheeler or something :D

Looks good, but I think it would look better if it was red instead of blue.

I wasn't saying to let anyone sleep in it... This was back in the late '70 when a lot of thing were done, that we don't do now....
