A short wide on 49" iroks

Drilled the hole in the frame 4.5" forward and as low on the rail as possible.

Ah now i see. I like it! Looks a lot better than some of the ghey hack drop hangers you sometimes see.

It's the same hanger I put on the suburban just wider spring bushings

Man, to me, that truck would be so much better off ditching those 49's for a set of 42's. I think he is going to find that actually wheeling with the 49's isnt going to be much fun.

x2... it doesn't seem like those 49's are gunna be able to turn very well right now!

The up travel is limited by the spring rate. They won't flex like what we are used to with 52"&56" setups. That's not the point for this pickup though. He is more into mud, snow, sand and of course the street. He saw it today and likes it. It's what he wants in a rig and that's what he is getting.

I told him that I started a build thread for it and that he needs to continue with it once he has it back in his driveway.

It definitely looks pissed off and shows better in person.

Will the spring rate be enough to keep the tires out of the fenders?

Out the door without airing down! Barely rubbed the weather stripping around the roll up door!

I don't but I was hoping the owner would join the forum and continue the build thread. He came and got it the following day.
