I'm changing everything on my 87 K5 to 134A. Looking at condenser's I see a lot of talk about going with a parallel flow as opposed to the one in it (tube and fin). Can anybody advise me on a part number ?
Thank you I’ll look into it.
Thanks Frank! I was having a problem finding one that actually spelled out it was “parallel flow”, and that one does. Thanks again.
Yes i see that in the picture.the amazon link is parallel flow in the pic. It has a common tube down both sides. If it were tube and fin, there would be 2 (connected) tubes wound in an s shaped pattern fitted through the aluminum fins. the gas would enter at 1 end and flow the path though all the bends out the other side.
Parallel flow it can flow across the core at any level and then on to metering device and evap, w/o traveling through all the tubes.
