Any one ever use these? they claim that they will give you more clearence behind the headers so that you dont need to dimple your headers and things of that nature (they are a shorter design then standerd plugs) was thinking of giving them a try, as it stands now iv got wbough clearnce for regulare plugs once they are in but not enough to take the plugs out with out taking off the headers :doah:
Would like to get some honest opinions from people who wont give me the run around just because they want me to buy them hah. iv always used standerd acdelco in the past.

They may be easier to install, but chances are you'll be replacing them way too often--never used Accel plugs myself, but friends that have said they suck--..

I've used them quite a few times. With my one set of headers on the heads that have angle plugs I need them. They work okay. Usually last half a season for me. They have a warranty on them....so I keep a few sets on hand and exchange them out as needed. If your tune-up isn't real close they will foul easier than a Delco. I use them in my mud racer with a fairly high strung 355. So it's idle, idle, idle, wide-open, idle, idle, idle. My tune is spot on for the wide open, it's when I have to spend a lot of time idling when they foul up. A couple quick hits of the throttle will generally clear them.

Haven't really tried them in a daily driver application.

Supposedly there is a short Champion plug out there that will also work. Haven't run across that one yet. But I'm sure it's cheaper than the Accels.

Thanks for the replies guys i suppose ill just suck it up till i find something better then accels

Dimple the headers...you won't lose any power.

Check the vid if you're concerned.
