Re: adapter plates: 400-205 / 350-205.. whats the going rate? who has one?
I do have a TH400 trannie. It was rebuilt in 96 and never installed. I has sat unde my bench since then. I do not have an adapter plate or a transfer case. If you're not into it, but hear of anyone selling adapter or t-case, let me know.

advanced adapters makes a new th350/np205 adapter, look up their price and divide it by two for a used one. I would not pay over 100 for one, including the sleeve., and that's pushing it. the 400/205 are a bit more rare, i think. so you'll probably pay a bit more.

I have one that is in good shape. All clean but not painted yet. It still has the reddish orange factory paint that is mostly worn off. It does come with a sleave (27 spline)and was the style that did not have a bearing in it, just seals, so you would have to buy new seals. It also does not have a shifter for it, just the adapter and sleave. I do have a shifter from a 465/205 adapter that I believe could be made to work with just a little ingenuity. I would sell it plus the shifter for $90+ shipping if you are interested let me know. Michael.
