I did see that there are a couple of centrifugal SC's out there that are passenger side AND go behind the belt giving you all kinds of room over there.

Now that I have a 3500 stall, I'm half tempted to go that route myself.
Which ones are you looking at?

Torque storm and vortec both have one.
They both say like 700-800 HP on their site, but some vids give watched show that there's versions available that'll go far beyond that.

Usually a purchase from any one of those hurts.
And you picked em all at once lol.

So the overhead console has map lights, how would I go about using a door switch to turn them on with the doors open but turn them on with the button next to them with the door closed? Map lights have a power and ground coming out.

Have the door switches activate a relay that sends power to the button when the door is open.
Have the button next to them connect to the output of the relay in one position, and direct to power in the other.

I had a feeling a relay was going to be my friend. Just didn’t want to add it.

You could skip the relay and just wire into the dome light circuit, so long as the button can switch between inputs.
