If I take some leaves from an 8" 52 and add them to a stock 56" do you think that would work?

I may do it today, depends on how far I get done

It might work lika an add-a-leaf, how much lift are you trying to gain over your current springs?

I think you will most likely end up with a very stiff spring that will sag quickly if you gain any lift by mixing and matching leaves.

Hopefully not too stiff. With the shackle flip and a good angle it should still be pretty soft.

I looked up 2" 56" springs and it's 320 for the pair :eek1:. Definitely can't do that right now, and I don't want to do blocks

your lucky finding them at 320 a pair, I bought a set of 2.5" lift skyjacker 56's and they are not cheap  However I am very ppleased with they way they ride and flex.

For a long time I ran a set of stock worn out 56's off of my old burb with a cheap $49 trail master 2" add-a-leaf in place of the overload and they did alright.

How thick is the add a leaf?

Heres my 8" 52

I think my add-a leaves were close to what would be the second leaf from the bottom of your pack... IIRC they were thicker in the center and tapered out towards the ends
