It is cold today ,27 deg. I went and picked my brother up from work and on the way home afr readings spiked to 22 and the rig stalled. started right back up but spiked to 22 afr and stalled so i climbed under and the collector is still hooked up.

If you look up under the headers you can see the gasket and it looks like it is in 1 piece. also from above it still looks in 1 piece. so i started the Rig and no more spikes.
Do you guys think o2 sensor is trying to fry?

I think i will buy a spare o2 sensor and a spare air temp sensor just in case.

May just be trying to tune itself since it’s never seen that temp. Mine was a little finicky the first go round at that temp, then sorted itself out

And 22:1 is WAY lean. Cold idle probably needs to be 12:1 or so

well it spikes at 22.5 and stalls . when you first start it and afr is 10.0 for 15 seconds it runs fine
but when it turns on o2 sensor it spikes and goes nuts and stalls.
ran fine for over an hour before starting this

and it is all the time now, crap. will order header gaskets to be sure and go from there

going to pull o2 sensor and try the butane test they show on youtube

I'm thinking it sounds like O2 sensor.

I've read about people adding an extension to the O2 bung that pulls it out of the pipe about 1". Supposed to make them last longer. When I replaced the O2 sensor on the Sniper setup I added the extension tube. Certainly doesn't seem to adversely affect things. Now you can buy a bung that's 1" tall from the start.

Anyway, might be something to consider if you have to replace your sensor.

i tried the butane lighter and it wont read it, pegs at 22.8 afr reading but wont read the lighter

Contact Edelbrock and jump through the hoops. They’ll probably send tot a new one

i have a call in there supposed to call me back but ill call in the morning

Did you upgrade to the latest firmware? Mine use to go WAY lean sometimes until I upgraded.

Are the heaters working? 1 or 2 02s?
Since this is the first very cold running, maybe the heaters aren't doing their thing.

peter also said to go in and clear the self learn data cause its all messed up
