Aftermarket Seats & Seatbelts

I plan on buying the ultras, or Baja ss. That is after I finish putting it together.

I need to look closer at yours Cody. I looked at them but not hard enough.

My MasterCraft seats were only $390 a pair, not bad. You'd have to get Erics take on them after riding in them for Pritchette as I haven't ridden in many seats. Also consider other vehicles like folks have mentioned. My previous seats came from a WRX and they had great bolstering. I paid $120 for the pair and got ~4 years of use out of them and looked good when I sold em.

If you get in and out of the truck often and can find the wider belt, get the OE bucket latch. I like my camlocks but they would be a bitch in a daily driver/family hauller. (also, not DOT approved)

And make sure your shoulder harness is not attached to the floor. That can beak your back in a crash because of down force.

I went with Corbeau recling suspension seats. They arent super expensive as seats go. Corbeau also makes model specific brackets for almost every vehicle. They are a direct bolt in. Only draw back to their brackets is you loose the fold and tumble option on passenger side

The non-power passenger seat that my buddy put in his K5 would tilt slightly forward, not like the original seat, but it did slide forward easily with the adjuster.

I installed a pair of 1996 suburban buckets with arm rests and power drivers seat. It didn't bolt up to original mounting spot so I used aluminum bar stock as a backer plate on the underside. Pad $200.00 from craigslist. They are so much more comfy than stock blazer seats.

PRP with the extra width. Very comfortable. Had a set of corbeau once. They fell apart! Maybe they are better now but I will never find out as I will never buy them again.

You know, I've never been in to using later model seats in a truck but I'm beginning to think that is an option to more seriously consider. Having the factory belts built in would solve both issues.
Hey bud do you remember the seats in my red k5? They are out of a Tahoe. If you really want a good seat with 4 or 5 point look at the MRAP seats that are around surplus.
