Anybody ever try anchoring with something like this?? We have them at work and they have "vibration eliminator" written on them. I think that would be a pretty neat effective ancoring idea
I took my 60g off the pallet, set it on the concrete, and use a ratchet strap and strapped it against a steel beam that was next to where I put the compressor. At the time, I wasn't willing to punch holes in my brand new concrete floor yet.
In my other shop with an 80g, I just did the rubber isolaters and 2x6's and it doesn't appear to want to walk at all.

those are isolation mounts for sure. I use them in all sizes, mounting gensets on top of fuel tanks or gen skids on pads. Those look like cheap ones though. I mean seriously they welded the spring to the base. the good ones the spring is free standing but caged. and there is a separate base and top and you use a jacking bolt through each one to level your piece at each mount.
ok heres what I mean. these are heavy heavy duty ones, I mean that genset shipping weight was 65,000 lbs. but you can see what I mean.

Yah they use these ones for mounting squirrel cages at work, reduces vibration noise, not really meant for alot of weight. Im sure 4 of them on an air compressor would work just fine
