Air source or co2?

Senco brand air fittings are my favorite. That's just the contractor side of me, I'm not so experienced in the automotive world.

That shit drives me crazy...I always have good luck with senco stuff not leaking, even the stuff that gets left in the bed of my truck all year long.

I have the viar 400p compressor in a bag. No tank w/ it, very compact. It took about 2 minutes to fill a 35" tire from 0 to 30 psi. It actually has a little better cfm that some of it's bigger brothers w/ the tank. You can't run tools off it but I have an electric impact and and inverter so don't need to run air.

That sounds a lot better than the viair compressor my buddy carries. I would usually air up my 42s from 4 to 18 then air up 1 sometimes 2 of his 35s from 6 to 25 with co2. His takes forever!

Just a tidbit of useless info on nitrogen. I'm in fire protection. I've been watching nitrogen very slowly rise in my field. From what I can see it ought to be used much more often. Maybe the reason it's use isn't growing is because it would cut service work by probably 70% at least. They've been using it on dry systems for years. But a few years ago I came across a wet system pumped up with nitrogen gas before filled with water. Absolutely clean system. Zero corrosion. Nitrogen displaces oxygen even in water.
I don't know may or may not be useless to this discussion. But there may be more to it than just anti corrosive.

I've been running a Viar 88p with about 10 gallons of air tanks plumbed together. Would air up all 6 of my 235/85/16"s within a few minutes from 18-45psi.

With the service bed though, now I have this large tank

And need to find a spot to mount this air compressor once the PTO is setup

The 88P and roughly 10 gallons worth of air tanks will go to the k5. It's enough to run an impact gun to buzz off 1 hub worth of lug nuts before it absolutely needs to catch up.

One other thought on CO2 or N tanks. Check w/ your local FD to see where they get their extinguishers filled. They're usually cheaper than welding suppliers.
