airplane engine

If it's actually an airworthy engine don't give if away, if not it's good for an airboat.

i wont be giving it away, just doing the reasearch to figure out it's true worth,i already know i will be selling it,not in a hurry to sell but it will be sold

picture of said engine would be fun.... can't believe no one has asked yet:whistle:

Advertise it in trade a plane. A rebuildable core is worth 6-8k with the accessories. If it is an IO-360 it is more desirable to the experimental crowd. It depends on what model it is. It isnt any good for vehicles as the cam and magnetos are designed and timed to run at the high of rpm so 2300-2400. It is not efficient and the fuel curves are off and will load up pretty badly even though you could lean it out at lower settings. They aren't to be throttled back for any length of time. Good luck

little more info on it,it is a o-320-e2d avco lycoming, need to figure out how to put pics on here

That's wild that I see this thread tonight, I was looking up overhaul lists for that exact engine earlier today in class. Ah what a small world it is, Haha.
