Leave the rears alone if it works good now. My opinion (take that for what it's worth...) is that if it sees any significant street time you should have stiffer more stable springs at one end or the other. My truck worked excellent with kinda stiff front Rancho's and stupid soft 57" rear Ford springs. The front spring kept the truck stable...but the soft rears got me the flex I wanted.
Once I had super soft springs front and rear all the decent handling went out the window.
My Alcan's may have been specc'd a lot softer than yours...not sure as I got em used. I had 11 leaf fronts, and 9 leaf rears. The leafs were very thin...
With no load there was ~16" of free arch to them
That comparison is with the 57" rear springs I had...which also have a ridiculous amount of free arch.
