My dad bugs me all the time to run his GTO that runs 10.30’s. It took my wife 10 years to talk me into running her car down the track. I couldn’t afford to fix my car after I blew it up the last time so I won’t run anyone else’s.Ok while I think it’s cool you get to drive the Nova, I can’t understand WHY he would want anybody else to drive his car? Just curious.
So what’s the bet for closest to the et for the Nova in the 1/8th mile?
Hey, I did the same thing with my '70 K10 years ago when it was still a a basically stock 454.Ok while I think it’s cool you get to drive the Nova, I can’t understand WHY he would want anybody else to drive his car? Just curious.

I hate ratchet shifters
fugger was always bang on thru the gears..
I don't know why either, but I'm game, if he is. What is the normal bet for closest et?Ok while I think it’s cool you get to drive the Nova, I can’t understand WHY he would want anybody else to drive his car? Just curious.

A big bag of Cheetos?I don't know why either, but I'm game, if he is. What is the normal bet for closest et?
Crunchy, or puffy?A big bag of Cheetos?
Sounds good! Big bag of cheetos for the closest 1/8 mile et, for the Nova. My Monte, running a 12.73 quarter, had an 8.14 eighth.I usually find the biggest bag I can find. It’s an absurd payout anyway![]()
When I went to Wyoming Tech, in the 80's, my friend had a Javelin with a 390 4 speed. We won a few races, till we met up with a 454 Chevelle, with a 150 shot on it.Here's my street/strip car.
Pic should be familiar...
It's a 390/4 speed car that had a tf and is apart for some extra ci's, port work and a glide.
