Way to shut down the engine, with a fire extinguisher! Quick thinking!!!
I don't think the exstinguisher put it out. You can barely see the guy move back, RPM's went back upand somebody climbed on the car to shut it down.

Right before that tire started hooking up and turned the car hard right.

I watched the 1320video coverage on tx2k last night. Just to get the idea of what’s going on. Still don’t get it.
They did have in car footage from the lambo when the mustang took the turn in front of it.
I’m not going to deny there were some killer cars doing it there. Lambos, vipers and GTR’s look to be the norm. Still it looks like a rich man’s game to me. Though there was one guy with an older Acura Integra that was pushing 200 mph.

It is the same car. They have multiple big blocks for it depending on the race they are going to.

I believe it was driven by AJ Gotlieb.
It was quite a phenomenon back in its day running the silver state classic in Nevada when Ferraris and Lambos were killing their drivers, Gotlieb hit 200mph. Amazing feat to this day
