All things Drag Racing.

Zim, remember when we ended up on TV in the crowd in Joliet after he won the all stars?

I envy y’all so much. Dad and I have been going to NHRA races for 20+ years until Baytown stopped this year. But beyond that, I’ve never been able to get into the scene. I love racing and everything about it. Been down a few drag strips but never anything real much less continued. I love this thread.

Pretty lucky to have been in a position to get involved when we did

I had to look at found this 1 minute video, but they cut us out of that one, we were about 20 ft from my group of cousins in the crowd right then, ha ha, it was 2017...

He's still sponsors by VP, and now Mickey Thompson, and a few others for parts.

Hey, I forgot me! I put a Volcano in his intake, notice the sticker in front of the front tires on the Cobalt.

I like racing when they are at the same track, because he calls me out on my little mistakes, stuff you don't even think of, but when you are trying to be that consistent, everything matters.

No doubt, running a good et lap is one thing, but putting together a package every pass is what it takes to win races.

these guys cut .010 lights and run within a .01 every pass, and .005 and .005 are not uncommon In box cars.

Before I moved out of the first house I owned, I had amassed a collection of all the little black and white photos cut out of the National Dragster “Where are they now” series. It covered one 24’ long wall, concrete to stringers
I enjoy the history part

Interested in your choice of a tow vehicle for that monster!?

... an F150 with some really cool rims!

It's in GA & I'm gonna bring it home with my F450.
Trailer weighs 8k and the cars are light. Towing capacity is around 21k, should be ok as long as I don't fill the trailer with too much shit.
If all goes well with that, I'll use it for local stuff.
For longer trips, we'll throw it behind the motor home.

@tRustyK5 Saw your parts list in your thread, folkenheath is a horrible influence!!!
Talked to him about lowering my ladder bar car about 4".
"No problem, have some cousins that can do that for ya but while you're at it ditch the ladder bars struts would be cool and, did I mention they don't use mild steel? Chromoly is the way to go!"

Needless to say, the only things being reused are the roof/quarters and the rear view mirror.

Other than that Heath is a hell of a guy.
