All things Drag Racing.

Before I moved out of the first house I owned, I had amassed a collection of all the little black and white photos cut out of the National Dragster “Where are they now” series. It covered one 24’ long wall, concrete to stringers
I enjoy the history part

That looks to be presafety, ha ha. I've seen tractors with better roll bars than that.

Upgraded the trailer today. Can take both cars, the golf cart and plenty of beer with us now...

Nice Andrew! Does that even have a carpeted floor?

@tRustyK5 Saw your parts list in your thread, folkenheath is a horrible influence!!!
Talked to him about lowering my ladder bar car about 4".
"No problem, have some cousins that can do that for ya but while you're at it ditch the ladder bars struts would be cool and, did I mention they don't use mild steel? Chromoly is the way to go!"

Needless to say, the only things being reused are the roof/quarters and the rear view mirror.

Other than that Heath is a hell of a guy.

Its going to be bad @SS when its done Andrew!

You can’t be hogging all the Novas!

Speaking of Nova's, heres some pics of my cousins Nova's for the 4th of July, well, one is kind of a cousin in law. They took these a year ago.

The Red one is my Uncle Ron's Nova.

The White one is my cousin Jenny's fiancé Dave (he is the Crew Chief for the Summit Racing KB ProStock team, and also a previous Top Fuel and Pro Stock Driver). He got down to 4 cars in the SFG $500K with that white Nova on Saturday, broke out by .003" in the semi final. He did awesome though, was winning round after round.

The Blue one is my cousin Jason's.

I think I might have the distance on him, at a charity car show a few years ago (they donate the proceeds to a local family in need, that year it was too a mother with cancer).

Anyway, this was with my sticky Mickeys on (they were junk after that, but were nearing the end anyway as they were 2 years old), no water and I didn't use the brakes, just tromped on it, hit the chip (7500 RPM), bumped second, hit the chip again, bumped 3rd, had to let off eventually, it would of kept going...I just wish we would of gotten the whole thing on Camera, you can't see the entire burnout, but you can hear when I let off, I went back the next day with my GPS, it was 700 ft long, over the 1/8 mile.

No, they're rubber coin but the deal fell through.
We put a deposit down on it and then he sold it locally. :flipoff3:

So, we're sitting in a buddies shop pulling the BBC out of his Hornet and his brother found a slightly bigger and newer trailer only 6 hours away... next thing you know, we're headed north.
Pull up to the trailer around midnight and the guy selling it and half of his neighborhood are in it drinking!
Pretty cool dudes. A few beers and a check later, I have a Stacker!!!

She's a 30' Haulmark with a 24' dragster lift.
The only downside to this unit is I may need a bigger shop.

@folkenheath Thanks

I know it goes against the norm here, pulling a 555 Reher Morrison BBC to install an AMC motor but we're planning on doing an all AMC race in Kenosha at the end of the month.

The dragster in the background is AMC powered too!
