All things Drag Racing.

Cruising the internet. Found this. We had been looking for a picture of it for a while. From the cheetahs that were laid up but never built as road race cars. 3 were turned into drag cars.

Bill Thomas racing is who my dad was working for building these.

Had it for the first 7 cars. Then GM pulled out of racing entirely for a few years. Killed the deal they had going. An original Cheetah sold last year for over 1 million dollars. Only 5 of the 7 exist today.

I knew they had in the beginning but not for long. Just didn't know how long.

Can't afford a million dollars car. :doah:

Heard a rumor drag week will be east coast tracks. Anybody hear anything?

Been there a few times…AHDRA, and they used to have NHRA Winston invitational there.

Sounds like Steve Morris broke the TH400 in the wagon. Not sure if the Cleeter crew will have the fox body Mustang ready with it's new Lenco in time for Sick Week. Mullet is ready for sure though.
