I have always had more fun trying to drive slow cars fast. Usually a lot of laughing going on. Driving a fast car fast is stressful.

Volvo is raced in the middle east and Europe all the time.
My neighbor was a Volvo mechanic and his son was racing Volvo very successfully

That was my daily routine.
I never had really powerful cars but I raced everywhere I went, especially coming back home going up the hill on hair pin curves drifting even with my front wheel drive Peugeot and Renault
