All things Drag Racing.

That right there is why I never got into the dirt track near me.
Lived right across from it for a long time, and had friends involved with it. Even had a car I could use at one point and people saying to do it, they'd be my pit crew and help.

But I remembered a conversation with my first father in law where he said he did it once back when they ran the 50's cars. And all he could think of in the car was burning to death.

After that conversation I knew it'd be all Id think about in there too

This is the first car I ever went over 100mph in when I was a little kid. Dad bought it as a 4cyl/4speed car. Put in a 360/904/9in. Sold it to the guy beside me in 1998 and he's had it since. 360 has been freshened up with some Edelbrock heads and a big single plane.

Still running the 3.55 geared 9" center my brother and I put in when we were 9 and 7 while Dad was at work. LOL

It seems surreal that the NHRA tour has come to my home track.
