WY Allison 1000 Transmission

Pulled this from a 2001 GM CCLB 4x4 with an 8.1L. truck had just under 200k.
It was running when pulled, owner hit a concrete block in his field.
Asking $400 OBO
Located in Laramie, WY.

Two questions.....

1- what type of transfer case was this bolted to ?

2- Is the bellhousing pattern unique to the 8.1 block,,, or is it the same as all standard MK IV big blocks?

NP263 (29 spline)
2- Is the bellhousing pattern unique to the 8.1 block,,, or is it the same as all standard MK IV big blocks?
I believe it is the same as most GM blocks. @Larry could probably tell you if I am wrong...
