with my 33s/700r4/3.73 setup compared to a 33s/700r4/4.10 setup?

Would the extra gearing get the revs low enough to be any better than 3.73s?

Is the swap worth it?

I doubt you'd notice any difference in economy...the gear spread is quite small, the 700's overdrive already drops cruising RPM's a bunch, and if you drop them too much, you'll end up in 3rd, not 4th anyways.

With 33" tires, probably a wash.

As an aside, taking that hyper*&^& (and I'm making that nicer than it should be) out is a better bet at actually saving you money, especially if you've got a cooler thermostat and are burning plus or premium in it.

Going to a 4.10 gear from a 3.73 gear will make the revs higher not lower. Here is my take on it, going to a lower gear (numerically higher) will make the engine not have to work as hard so mileage might get better. One thing to consider is that after doing a tire or gear change is to have the speedo calibrated so that you can accurately calculate your mileage and also so your speedo reads correctly.
