Amp suggestions?

If Chris doesn't want it, I am interested in the RF amp.

Hey '73 K5
It does fit but I decieded to go with a multi channel amp since I will be getting seperates and reciever doesn't put out enough power. Thanks for your patients, I apologize for the delay.

I have a Rockford 200a4 amp, new in the box. Would you be interested in something like that?

Definite Possibility. How much power? I do play fairly loud and I do have a sub. Second of all, the magic question, how much? Also if you can give me the basic specs...watts, size blah blah. Oh, and how old is it and is there a warranty

thanks

Birth certificate on the 200a4 says May 20, 1999. Which means it was tested then and sold probably 3-5 months after that. Power output on the cert is listed as 352 watts! Not bad. The owners manual says: RMS power at 4 ohms is 25x4. RMS power at 2 ohms is 50x4. RMS power bridged mono at 4 ohms is 100x2.
Please keep in mind that the rated 25x4 watts for this amp is going to be wayyyyyyyyyyy better than the 25x4 power that some of the new decks have. Rockford underrates their amps quite a bit. This amp is going to be alot clearer and louder than any deck could be. Think of the physics involved...the built in amps in CD decks aren't any bigger than your fist, whereas this Rockford amp is massive in comparison. Its going to be plenty enough to compete with a single sub...ever a pair of 10's or 12's. Size is 2.6 x 9.6 x 9.7 inches. The only part that isn't perfect is I don't have the receipt from when it was purchased, so you are going to have a very tough time getting free service work done on it. Its kind of a small risk though...IMO. I've owned a billion different Rockford amps and have never ever had to use the warrenty on one.
Everything is in the box that came with it, the amp has never been hooked up to anything ever. Its just like buying a new one...but without the warrenty. These amps sold for $280 plus tax when they were new, so just a shade under 3 bills. I'll knock off the $80 since there is no warrenty, but I do need $15 extra to cover the shipping, insurance, etc. So $215 and its yours. Just like the other amp: No big deal if you don't want it...just let me know.

Just saw this on the Crutchfield site. Is there any way you can get down lower. This is brand new and with shipping will be about the same with a warranty. If you can't I understand, you can't take to much of a hit.

Rockford Fosgate Punch 200a4 25W x 4 Car Amp Save $80! Was $279.95, Now: $199.95
100 watts RMS x 2 bridged • selectable high-pass/low-pass crossovers • variable front and rear gain controls •
preamp outputs.

$199.95

I probably can't go down far enough to make it worth it without the warrenty. Throw me an offer over a Private Message and let me know what you're willing to give for it anyway though.
