Thanks heath. I am glad I found it as well.

Made a wiring harness for the switch panel tonight in my hotel. The black box will houses the termanl strip and will be tucked up under the dash, allowing me to disconnect with out tearing out the whole dash. Now only if they would let me weld in here hahah

I bet the house keeper thinks I'm making a bomb.

Timbrens are on the way. A little more then I wanted to pay but they should be worth it. Should make the dunes more comfortable :D

Unmounted the boggers. Got all 4 rings welded to the rims. Found out almost all my rims are bent or oblong. Either that or kerts rings are off. I'm gonna go for the first option there.

Also I dragged the camper i bought off my dad out of the back of his property. Demolition will be on Saturday. 22 feet total length main frame is 19 feet long and 79 " wide. Should make a nice trailer with drive over fenders

Our rings may vary a couple thou here and there. Not enough to cause you any concern. I've yet to see a round rim. Outside is always the worst and the seam on some of them are atrocious. I did a set for Mikeydo5 back in the day and used the rings to help bring the wheel closer to round.

Lookin' good. Keep the updates rollin in.

looking good Jess...that camper wouldn't have a working fridge in it would it?

Thanks Kert, that is what I figured. One rim was almost perfect, the rest not so much. I used washers to space the ring as best I could on all the rims. Since this will never see road time, I am not worried about it too much.

Dave, we pulled the fridge a long time ago. It still works but its probably not one you want. The fridge from that camper was 110V only, rather than the popular 110v, propane, and 12v. PM me if you are interested anyway and I'll get you pictures. It also has a working A/C unit, stove, heater all for sale. Let me know.

Are you sure you are going to be able to tow that? :waytogo:

Beadlocks are on my wish list, sweet.

I would hope so. It won't be any heavier than my dads car trailer. His is only 16 feet. When my rig was full bodied and longer I pulled @ 75 mph no problem and now that I have all my power back should be a piece of cake.

Got my spare mounted on the rim Dave grabbed for me. Also finished the bead locks.

I will be picking up bolts tomorrow. Looks like 2" bolts are the winners.

Tomorrow will be fun, instead of demo sawzall blades I bought a 20lb sledge :)

them are bitchin' Jess...I like the purple/black look too, and I'm not a purple fan. Are those 38.5's?

I think thats a pretty good size actually, should be safe with a SBC, a BBC and 42's I would be worried though, but then you gotta have a reason right?

Looks like I can make the entire trailer with scrap I grabbed from work.
:woot::woot:

Should make a nice trailer for my rig.

dual braking 3500lb axles

Its not as wide as I would like but with drive over fenders I should have a 93" deck, with 80" between fenders :)

Argh!

I'm jealous.... But, I think I might copy this...
Keep us posted! :D

Trailer build will commence in a week or two. Gotta get going on the rig. Durring down time I'll build the trailer. Like I said I have the steel already, so the only thing I have to buy for this thing is wood. So by the time I get done I'll have a 18 foot car hauler for less than 500 :D
