And it continues build thread. Dead.. sent to the scrapyard

Man you know how to celebrate Jess! Congrats man.

Thanks everyone I'll make sure to get a picture of the ring later on this week, just do not want to risk taking a picture now and having her find out.

How many cubic inches could it have been? Nice shortblock, solid longblock, turnkey 572....it's amazing how many rig parts will fit on your wifes finger.

HOLY ASS! is it too late to trade for the 572? lol . congrats on getting it done, when ya gonna seal the deal.

Lol that's ok now you'll have something to regret the rest of your life..

No I'm jk. Have fun man. Just don't piss her off between now and when you ask!

its crazy to think about. I did 3 months salary into it and a little extra to get her name engraved, and a better main stone. But I am very happy as how it turned out. It is a one of, I sat down and designed it with the jewelry maker in cad. :)

cool idea with the design cad stuff Jess....the last engagement ring I bought was $750.....bout 22 years ago...

3 months salary, fockin' jewelers anyway, what a scam.
worse than the hallmark holidays.

i may just be bitter after 2 divorces, I'm pretty happy now.

Well see now anytime she gets mad at him, she just has to look at that ring and go, Oh yah... Now you got brownie points for LIFE!! I see how you work lol.

I am so glad we were poor and in college when I asked my wife to marry me.

I spend WAY more than the 3 months salary thing. Cause I wasn't working at the time just 16 credits in school. :D

Here is a preemptive congrats Jess :D:D:D

With all the headaches people have with NWF, i would rather give ORD my business

Well after considering all my option I went and ordered a doubler... from nwf. They said they have everything in stock and will be shipping tomorrow! Best part is do not have to buy a new input for the 205! I should be fine considering my very mild small block.

Hey Jess, just curious because I read this top post in another thread you stated just last month, what changed your mind?

I would have to change my input in the 205, on top of the doubler price. so it would be about 12-1300 for the doubler. I have a really mild small block and NWF had everything in stock for my 10spline 205 and was 100 bones cheaper than ord. Just made more sense. If I had daves or your motor I would def upgrade to the 32 spline 205. If I break anything it will be the input on the 205 not the heat treated output shaft. If that happens I can grab my spare 205 and throw it on there.

Also my dads new K5.. Absolutely gorgeous! 90 stock but on 33x12.50s

plans are headers intake, and tune up. Try to wake the tired old girl up.

His K5 looks real nice!

When is that doubler going all the way together?

It should be bolted up and ready on saturday. I should have had it ready yesterday but all the tubes of RTV I had(3) all decided that they should harden up. :( I did finish grinding my shift rails for the tripple stick.
