Keep it up man, it's nice to see more progress, it's been a while.

Why do you have the big tire on the passenger side and small one on the driver rear? I was confused for a sec thinkin ur tubing was way messed up lol

Got more done today, the spare will barely fit, but will leave me about 2.5ft by 2.5ft of bed for tools, airtank etc

If I ever upgrade to bigger than 38.5's which is highly likely gonna have to redo some stuff

It's looking sweet, but where are people going to sit back there? If you want seat room I would move the tank and spare to the back and widen the bars so they can sit right behind the cab. That would allow more room for a bigger spare too.

No seats for now.... shouldn't need to have seats for awhile. Plus my dad has the k5 for any other people that need rides. Just me and the wife for another year when her short term disability kicks in, then I'll start having kids. Once I do have kids, probably will ditch this all together and build a k5/s10 buggy.

Broke down and ordered a tripple stick from ORD. Im sure I could have made one, but i have less time then money right now. So it just made sense.

got the side support bars in and start of the bracing on top. Following eriks guidelines of keeping the top as rigid as possible

I dont' know if your planning it Jess but that tank needs a bottom support. It will bend the flanges.

Just something to sit on. I made my own straps.

Yah I plan on using spring steel/ steel straps used for packing. Got a ton of it at work.

Looking good man! Next time snap a pic of the whole thing in the back so we can see all the progress at once. When do you plan to have it wheeling again now?

Hard to get a whole pic of the truck without other stuff getting in the way. when I roll it back to drop the motor in this weekend I'll take a pic. Rear is finished minus floor/sheet metal for the fenders.

I pulled the tunnel to lift the trans and the doubler into place using the cage. After motor and stuff go in then, I can order shafts

I hope to have most stuff done by april, or when I buy/ move into my house.
